Early access · Available before 2027
Why now
From 2027, your invoicing software must comply with VERI*FACTU
Royal Decree 1007/2023 requires every invoice to produce a chained, tamper-proof record. In VERI*FACTU mode, that record is sent to the Spanish tax agency the moment the invoice is issued.
A PDF from your payment provider or a spreadsheet is no longer enough: the invoice must come from a system that meets the regulation and carry its QR code.
- 1 January 2027 Companies paying corporate income tax
- 1 July 2027 Self-employed and all other taxpayers
What it does
Everything VERI*FACTU requires, in one service
-
Automatic sending to the AEAT
Every invoice produces its record, is chained to the previous one and is sent to the tax agency. If the AEAT does not respond, it retries automatically.
-
IGIC and VAT, at every rate
Canary Islands, mainland and Balearics: the right tax and rate for who invoices, whom, and when.
-
Your invoices, your design
Editable templates with a PDF preview. The QR code and the VERI*FACTU legend are always included, so no invoice goes out incomplete.
-
An API for your software
Have your own program or point-of-sale terminal? Connect it to Bunny Invoice and issue VERI*FACTU invoices from it.
How it works
Three steps, none of them manual
-
You issue the invoice
From the dashboard or from your own software, through the API.
-
It goes to the AEAT
The record is chained to the previous one and sent to the tax agency.
-
Your customer verifies it
With the invoice’s QR code, on the AEAT’s website.
FAQ
What people usually ask us
Who has to comply with VERI*FACTU?
Companies and self-employed people in Spain who issue invoices with software. Among others, those who keep their books through the Immediate Supply of Information system (SII) are excluded.
When does it become mandatory?
For companies paying corporate income tax, from 1 January 2027. For all other taxpayers, from 1 July 2027.
Does it work in the Canary Islands?
Yes. VERI*FACTU also applies in the Canary Islands, and Bunny Invoice calculates IGIC at all its rates, as well as VAT for businesses invoicing from the mainland or the Balearics.
What if the AEAT is unavailable?
You can keep invoicing. Records are queued and sent as soon as the AEAT responds again, as the regulation provides.
